2016-2017 Head Coach openings

Is Webb at Maryville still a consideration to join Dorell? I know all of class 3 on the west side of the state would like to see him take that job.

I would highly doubt it now. At least not this year. Dorrel's staff is full I think.

Jones is just using Liberty to get more money from K town, like he did back in 2008. He is not going to leave Kearney.

Crutcher is a great guy but probably won't get the job.

I like Pugh and odds are he will get it. He has been at Liberty for 10+ seasons and Liberty is a good ol' boys network like St. Joe is. If Pugh doesn't get it, he will walk.
Is this the same Crutcher from WC that ran up the score on a first year LN team in 2010? Maybe they should discuss that in the interview.

It was actually amusing to watch. Could not remember the exact score but it was a game washed out by Friday bad weather so I got to see another game on Saturday morning. WC comfortably ahead with clock running out in the 4th quarter and WC goes to a no huddle inside 2:00 and if I recall correctly called several time outs with under 1:00 left inside the 10 to push another score across. Then the entire coaching staff at WC celebrated the last score like it was a game winner. I was on the WC side and even those fans were surprised by what happened. Just figured that Crutcher and Clemons had a history but it was amusing

How is there a running clock if score was 41-14, even if WC scored with a minute to go? Score was either 34-14 or 35-14. That isn't a running clock per rule book. Maybe they scored a TD for a kid that otherwise wouldn't in a normal game. That stuff happens in sports.

Poor Liberty North...

Anyways... Crutcher was there in 2013, not 2010.

Never said it was a running clock said the clock was running out

I just thought it odd at the time - I could care less if LN gets 100 put on them

I really could care less if LN gets 100 put on them just thought it odd at the time for a first year team. To each their own I guess.

There may be history there. Teams and coaching staffs don't forget about previous years.
