Compared to the season CJ had a year ago, this would be a huge improvement, especially when you consider the move to the COC. This is still a young team with even more room to improve.

Great highlights. #10 is silky smooth and the team looks solid from behind the arc as well as distribushin. Then again the highlights can be deceptive, but 93 will tell you differently. I know you guys do a great job with producing highlights.

Hey MSU, how is Willard doing this season? I know Houston Johnson is finally healthy and should be pretty good. I never see anything about them on here.

To be honest, don't know, don't care! Seriously, they've got to be better than the past two seasons. 8-17 and 6-19.

Very excited for this season. I saw Kickapoo play Vashon twice this summer with each taking 1 game. Kickapoo won the first and Vashon the second

Kickapoo wins first game of the season against Vally View 84 - 35. They advance to the second round of the Barry Pruitt Hurricane Classic in Jonesboro. They play HarBer in the next round.

Ridder was lights out. 16 points in first quarter, 25 at half, finished with 34 sitting out most of second half. Much better competition coming up tonight against Har-Ber though. Hoping for a final against Jonesboro though -- atmosphere would be crazy

Personal note! 20 Years for me following Glendale Basketball. Dec. 2nd, 1996 (Glendale Vs. Aurora in the first round of the 50th Annual Carthage Invitational) thru Dec. 2nd, 2016. 383 wins, 222 defeats, 4 district titles, 4 conference titles, 17 regular season tournament titles, #1 in the state '98-'99, 8 seasons ranked in the Top 10 of Missouri (Class 4A, 5, & 4), 4 Blue & Gold titles, Bass Pro T of C runners-up in 1999 - 3rd place in 2002, 19 winning seasons (1 losing season), and three website hosts (homestead, eteamz, and weebly). I'd like to thank Coack Keltner for asking me if I had a "passion and/or interest" in basketball in a Driver's Ed class in October of '96. I think I know the answer to that question after twenty years. Although, the past 5-6 years of Glendale Basketball has put a pretty large dint in my passion, I am still interested. And, there's always a chance my passion could make a comeback in the future. Ending the 10-game losing streak to Nixa, winning the Blue & Gold, ending the 5-game losing streak to Ozark, beating Kickapoo, and making a Class 5 state run would help out A LOT!

Should have posted earlier but got home late last night and worked all day today.

Finals of Barry Pruitt Huricane Classic
Jonesboro 80
Kickapoo 76

Fantastic game and great energy. Would love to see them match up again. I guarantee if they played 10 games they would win 5 apiece.

People on twitter and other forums were calling Kickapoo-Jonesboro the best high school they'd ever seen. Wish I could've been there!

Glendale Falcons(2-0) 69 - Rogersville(3-3) 58. Falcons had a 56-40 lead with 4:55 left, then Rog started hitting 3's and cut it to 65-58 before GHS nailed down some free throws to get the win.
GHS leads the all-time series 8-4. Johal scored 26!
Big test Friday against Norman North!

- The Vikings are ONE win away from #1,000. Might come Friday night at The Pit against Central.

Kickapoo-Lee's Summit West final??

LSW and Kickapoo both won their first round games. Poo played terribly -- probably the worst I've seen them look in 5 years. They managed to squeak by Springdale in OT, even though Ridder fouled out of a close game with about 4 minutes to go in the 4th. They will have to pick it up considerably if they're going to get to the finals.

Glendale 96 - Norman North 110!

Parkview gave up 106 to Kickapoo in 2003, Kickapoo gave up 105 to Joplin Memorial in 1975, Central/Senior gave up 107 to Joplin Memorial in 1977, Hillcrest gave up 110 to Joplin Memorial in 1977.

Glendale-Norman North new record for most points scored by both teams in a game involving SPS teams at 206. Old record was Hillcrest-Jefferson City 103-101 (3 OT) in 1975.

Highlights (Glendale side only)
