Well Joplin is only going to be good for a few more years if Junior High and Youth football mean anything.

Webb should be back on top finally. Nixa is always overrated and Carthage will not be deep enough.

Just don't see the streak continuing this coming year. Here's what I think...
Joplin has a rebuilding year and falls to the middle of the COC. Nixa will probably be good as they have been in the last couple seasons but seem to underdeliver with regularity. I agree with Raw that Carthage is going to have problems with depth but I think they'll be decent. Depth was a problem for Carthage last year too, it often is, but it was arguably the best regular season they've ever had, no one including Webb challenged them in the regular season. I don't see that repeating.
Webb City will be back where they belong, beating everyone they play 42-7 as if every opponent is exactly the same. Social media will be a circus of cardinal pride posts from August through championship weekend. All the athletic families that coalesced into the district will be asking each other how is it possible such an undertalented team can beat all these bigger schools .
I see the COC being similar to some past years when it was Webb City by a mile and then a cluster fight for the scraps among several fairly even teams. Which in some ways will be meh but in others it may result in a lot of closer games just not those involving WC.
But nothing is ever for certain until it's happened!
