I am a moderate and really neither candidate did anything to show me they deserve my vote. Trump went in like a bull at a bull fight. He didn't care who he gored, he knows his base will love it. Biden looked to feeble and timid afraid to make a mistake.

Sort of reminds me of WW 1 were both sides are intrenched and afraid to do anything for fear of losing ground or in this case votes. Its like they both are just going to wait it out until the election.

So the losers are the moderates....We don't actually get to see who stands for what.

The Oct 9 game against Warsaw has been canceled by Warsaw I assume due to Covid. The game against Buffalo is still a go this Friday. Butler is looking for an opponent for the 9th

This game is definitely intriguing to me. Granted, Forsyth’s victories have been against 2 opponents that haven’t won any games, and they did get smoked by both Buffalo and Skyline. But they lost 20-36 to Fair Grove who also beat Stockton 58-32.

If Valle loses their game with Grandview, how likely would that be? What a great game and atmosphere that would be by 2 great programs.

due to Boone county attendance restrictions Centralia will hold their Homecoming festivities AT South Shelby Oct 6th. This will only consist of a halftime performance by the marching band and coronation ceremony. Strange times.

Rockwood School District (Marquette, Eureka, Rockwood Summit and Lafayette) have already announced that they're playing. Desmet has joined those four schools as of last night. Today Lindbergh and the entire Parkway School District (Parkway North, South, West and Central) will announce that they will join as well. These teams will being playing football games outside the county on October 2nd. CBC, Chaminade, Vianney are among others who are rumored to be heavily leaning towards playing.

Mustangs won’t let Seneca players under quarantine play the game so it’s now cancelled.

St. Louis County schools are trying to play out of St. Louis county but Trinty will not be one of them. Trinity is the only catholic school in St. Louis County, the leadership said they will follow health department guidelines. Trinity should have done like St, Mary's, Cardinal Ritter, and Dubourgh and opted to the spring, big mistake. Catholic schools will never go against authority it is a very bad look for a school of faith. Sam Paige isn't even going to consider football for 3 more weeks and the numbers and hospitalization in St. Louis County is skyrocketing.

The curse of WC is coming back to Carthage and leaving CJ in decent shape.

A lot of 100% scores last week! Is Branson pretty decent this year or is Neosho just bad at an epic level? Not sure what to think about CJ. WC is back. Nixa is still looking good and Ozark as well. Carthage didn't play so I'm still not entirely sure where they fit in. Joplin has lost 2 games but did beat Webb City. So at this point I'd say WC is the favorite but Nixa probably has week 7 circled on their schedule.

Not sure how the canceled Carthage game will factor into the COC picture.

For this week ---

Branson at Carthage - Branson looks improved. Not sure what effects rona will have on the Tigers. Might be a closer game than people expect? Carthage 35-21
Joplin at Willard - Willard is due for a win but I don't see them finding it against the Eagles. Joplin 41-20
Neosho at Nixa - Nixa by as many as they want.
Ozark at Republic - I believe either are capable of winning this game but I'll go with Ozark 28-21
CJ at Webb City - Webb City by a lot. Let's say 48-10

Versailles canceled on them.

Looked good opening night. Some rookies looked good on both sides of the ball. May be better than last year. And Andy Reid called plays without even seeing the field!

Three teams to keep an eye on in Class 3 - Odessa, Valle Catholic, and Blair Oaks.
