St. Pius X 36, Fort Osage 6 Final

GV was one dimensional and Webb loaded the box kudos for doing their homework but it ain't that hard when you have a qb that can't throw.

Webb got a huge gift from the refs where GV had all the momentum and should have gotten the ball back instead refs blew the call and Webb got their 3rd TD.

I don't know who you trying to impress or convince but Carthage nor Webb are in the same league as PC or Pius.
Platte County in particular has had so many outstanding gunslingers during the Utz years but NONE quite like Marriott. All we can do, though, is let it all unfold.

Well Grain Valley had been scoring 49 a game against KC Metro Teams,Webb held them to 9 last night ( Didn’t Kearney hold them to 6??)

Webb has had problems scoring but put 21 on GV last night and turned it over on downs once inside the 10 ( didn’t Kearney just score 29 on them??)

I saw GV vs. Kearney they were horrible offensively. Once the #1 RB got nicked up that was it. Kearney played very, very vanilla that game and I commented about it extensively. Platte County and St. Pius X need little D. Everyone will see..................

Good luck with either offense is all I can say. 2 of the top 5 QBs in MO regardless of class and both JRs. Cannot make this stuff up...............

Kearney observations

THREE Northland teams having very special seasons: Platte County, St. Pius X and Kearney. Now two collide...................cannot wait to see it Friday.

Rambling as this post is there are a few good points especially this KMO HC but I've gushed enough about that guy to power KCMO and surrounding environs for years.

I REALLY like someone else giving the JR backup QB some love. That kid, thrown into near impossible circumstances last year, hit the pass that sealed the Fort game. I call him a great insurance policy.

Kearney fans should now root for Warrensburg and their dynamic QB to revenge Pleasant Hill (was 21-14 Roosters in the regular season) which would mandate Lutheran North traveling to Kearney Thanksgiving weekend.
