From watching film from earlier in the season, it appeared there was zero consequence for players getting those types of penalties in other games.Marionville could have easily had 5-6 personal fouls with all the late hits and the taunting BS if the refs weren’t being so forgiving.
Kicking off into the end zone (one of those last night appeared to clear the uprights my goodness) is also important. Other factor is no slow start. So much more to come once the weekend passes by! If Kearney executes both sides of the ball like they did in last night's 3rd quarter LN is indeed in for it.I will watch LN again this week but if they can score 40+ on Kearney that probably gets the job done I just don't see it happening. If KHS has to throw the ball I think they will put the JR. QB in the game for that but obviously not my decision. I can see that game going either way but it will require LN to score a bunch and so far that just hasn't happened.
I would then assume Dr. Fred and MICDS agreed to do that?????It was saying st.louis last night but it is now saying PC. If this holds i am beyond confused.
Biggest weakness is lack of DEPTH. Key in this one (again if it happens - 95 percent it should, though) is be in range come the 4th and wear them down.LN can pass but it’s only 30% of their O.
You don’t want to pass much on LN if you don’t have to. They have 23 picks this season. Their weakness is their lines. They can be run on. And on O they give up sacks.
1/3 of their total yards comes from specials. Eliminate that.
Covered that in my game summary after getting home. Tale of two halves. If you don't have to pass why would you? They can just power run the ball and win that is the objective win the game.
I really like that kid. What a luxury to have!A few weeks back they put the JR in and scored on 4 straight drives so it is not out of the realm of possibilities.

I can appreciate that to the point we likely never see another athlete like Tommy Saunders. One thing in PC's favor, though, is they didn't play near as well last night as last week.I’m the opposite of recency bias. I tend to wax nostalgically of the past. So that may make my opinion skewed, but I just don’t think this PC team is the caliber of the 02 Kearney.
My comp was with the 02 version when K were juniors and still had their way with people.I know it was a long time ago, but the 03 Kearney team is the one who won 43-0

I know, I was just commenting on practice. They always play one less regular season game, so they play their 9th reg schedule game on Thanksgiving.

Also WG and KW play on turkey day and practice until then, even when both teams have been eliminated
Yeah I think that is correct with the exception of you cannot have a kid that has started another sport. So if your QB plays basketball he cannot participate in the practice.I believe you can practice till the state championships are over. We've had this convo back in the day.
Maybe so that your kids who will be playing next year get better???****ing why would you tho?

If a team gets eliminated first round of districts, Their underclassmen could have almost twice the amount of practice time after their season than they did before the first gameI believe it is allowable for teams to continue having practice while the season continues. Obviously basketball impacts that and many players especially at smaller schools would be flipped over to that.
