Owensville finished second in league standings with a 5-1 mark, then after falling to Union put together a winning streak that helped the Dutchmen advance to the quarterfinal round of the MSHSAA playoffs.

Many talented players return this season in the Four Rivers Conference where the title chase looks to be a race to slow down the Union Wildcats.
MOsports.com Predicted Standings

Union-- Along with Savage, senior running back Ryan Baser(5-10 190) returns after rushing for 1,114-yards and scoring 17 touchdowns a season ago. Baser returns at linebacker along with senior Steven Jones(6-0 180). Senior Ryan Coons(5-11 170) is a talented WR/DB for the Wildcats who brings veteran experience.
?
St. Clair-- Finishing 7-4, 4-2 in the league in 2010, the Bulldogs have high hopes this fall. Senior Kyle Juergens returns after quarterback after passing for nearly 500 yards and 13 touchdowns. Senior Travis Sanders returns as a top offensive threat and leader on defense at linebacker.
?
Owensville-- In addition to being hit hard by graduation, the Dutchman lost head coach Paul Schmanke who left to coach/teach at Eureka High School. Dale Long will move from Archie to lead the Dutchmen football program. Senior RB/DB Jason Kottwitz(5-9 165) returns as the leading skill player, while the line will be solid around senior Garrett Baker(6-3 245) and senior Lynde Mantels (6-5 300).
?
Sullivan-- 3-7, 3-3 in league play a season ago the Eagles hope to return to winning football.
?
Hermann--Hermann returns plenty of veteran experience, head coach Brenden Gubera says, "This year we will have 12 seniors, most of whom have been playing at the varsity level since they were sophomores. We should be experienced up front with three seniors and one junior anchoring the?offensive line. We lose some quality receivers and Justin Wurtz is expected to step in at QB for Lucas Budnik. Wurtz brings a different set of tools than Budnik and the offense will be tweaked to fit his capabilities. We feel we have three or four guys that can carry the football so we will begin the season with a running back by committee approach until someone takes the job.
?
St. James-- Senior Jake Harlan returns among the top players in the league. Harlan passed for 753 yards and 7 touchdowns and also rushed for 747-yards and 5 touchdowns.
?
Pacific-- Senior running back Cody Kremer(5'10" 230) returns as a top offensive threat for the Indians who finished 1-5 a season ago.
