Zizzers at Webb......who you got??

Webb is banged up and it might be close. Wp is huge but plays too many lineman both ways. That will hurt them. Webb will wear them out eventually. Wp looks good and large but very slow. Thats just my opinion
Last week was a close one but Webb is still Webb....I think they get back on track and roll. It'll be interesting with the changes on the offensive line but they'll manage.
I think WEBB may need to beat on them first half. Hit them with Burroughs and Vanlue then bring the shifty Potts in. We may be suprised, definately wouldnt be the first time but with that it could just as easily be a beatdown. I think WEBB wears em down. WEBB 42-20

WP could present a problem. I hear their coach has went and got a hair cut similar to the one worn by Eric Hosmer. When he does things this drastic it always seems to fire up his team.
After the close game I heard that Wheaties dropped sponsorship and we now have O's. That increase in fiber is going to pull us through tonight.
Are you sure that an increase in fiber is what you REALLY want before a big game?????
I think a big difference will be the defensive back field for WP is weak. John always reserves the surprise plays or schemes for times like this. Also, WP's kicking game will not be close to Webb's. When they punt or kickoff, I think Webb get's great field advantage and when we kickoff or punt we pen them back. Webb comes out tonight with a purpose and with blood in their eyes that's for sure.
Webb showed they are human last week. This week the animal comes back out !
WP might get a huge dose of #21 this week. And they will not like the taste he's going to leave in their mouths.
I loved seeing Crane blow up a LB he met in the hole last week. He actually hit the kid so hard he rose up and was thrown backwards at least three yards in the air. I hope we see a little more of him as the lead back tonight.
West plains is much better this year than they were last year; and anyone who's honest with themselves knows that Webb is not as good this year as they were last year...

I think you like a lot of others are going by what the CJ Webb score was, but West Plains is no CJ. Again not saying WP is not improved over last year but CJ handled them by 2 TD's last year and really the game was not that close until West Plains got a cheap TD at the end. Sorry just not an Ozark Conference fan, seen a few games and they just don't play with the same toughness that the other conferences play with. Kickapoo almost got beat by the lowest seed first game out.
West Plains may surprise me and upset Webb, but I really think because Webbs game was so close last week they they will come out and just punch WP in the mouth and run away with it. But hey anything can happen that is why we play the games. Good luck to both teams. Debating either going to this one or the Reeds Aurora game, just trying to figure out which one would be the better show.
Go to Webb. Think about it - either Webb punches them in the mouth and proves you right (positive), WP wins and you see a big streak come to an end for a nationally ranked team (positive as a neutral fan), or it's a tight ballgame (positive).
My assessment of WP this year versus last year is based on having seen them play this and last year (they are much better team this year than they were last...)
I've not seen Webb play yet this year, but the Republic game, Neosho game, and the CJ game are plenty enough for me to know that they are not as good as last year; but as said earlier, a "down" year for Webb is better than most teams' dream seasons (and I wouldn't even go as far as to call this a down year for Web...)

They still aren't as good as last year mainly because they dont have kiente. They are pretty good tho
Mits quit comparing scores CJ is twice the team West plains thinks they are. And even though they might be better they were just a better bad team that plays in the weak Ozark Conference that is a Joke, West Plains would have been lucky to finish 3rd in the Big 8 no way they beat Lamar or CJ. They got punched hard in the mouth tonight and you could see they wanted nothing to do with Webb.
Chaotic fan started mouthing about this West plains team at the start of the season, in the end they were just a paper zizzer...
Come on bullit I would say Chaotic was pretty much right on. They, WP, finished what 10 or 11 and 2 with the 2 being Kickapoo and WEBB. Chaotics a fan of WP like we are all fans of somewhere. Personally I wouldnt say CJ was any better than WP was. I said immediately after last weeks game that it was easily one of the worst games I have ever seen WEBB play offensively. And NO CJ had ZERO to do with that. WEBB probably had as many yards against CJ as they had against WP but against CJ WEBB only HIT them in the mouth by almost every inch they got was running it. Tonight although they ran it well, they threw it very well. If not for the weather I believe WEBB wins last week as easily. As it is we will never know but to say he cant compare scores and then you turn around and compare scores is funny. Chaotic seems to be a nice guy as long as he doesnt own the Fish Shack relax a little...

3peat, you're a great fan of your team but it seems you always throw in points that surely everyone else would disagree with. Webb did play poorly last week, but seriously....you really believe CJ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT??? What a joke of a statement. And Webb had about 50% more total yardage against WP than they did against CJ ---and they played their best players against CJ for all four quarters (no subbing in the JV).
We know how you absolutely despise Carl Junction. But the other logical, reasonable Webb City posters on here know the difference between who CJ really was this year versus the scum of the earth you seem to think the Bulldogs are year after year, decade after decade.

Arguing about this years WC / CJ game is futile. It was not a good representation of either team. I have no idea what happens on a dry field but I doubt it turns out to be a 14-7 game!
Agree, but saying CJ had zero to do with it is just plain stupid. Would Webb have won 14-7 in those same conditions against East Newton?
My point is pretty simple and if you think everyone disagrees with me you are definitely wrong. Sure the politically correct want to be your internet buddy guys will say on here it woulda been close and that CJ defense took it to us but come on man. WEBB fumbled 8 times on center/QB exchanges, not being hit and the ball coming out they couldn't get the snap off more than 4-5 times without putting it on the ground. WEBB still had 300 yards rushing losing yards 8 times on fumbles. CJs only score came on the opening drive with the craziest play being 3rd and 14 from the 16 and a snap over the QBs head with a recovery and like a 30+ yard run
for a first down. After CJs opening drive what did they have 5 first downs the rest of the game. WEBB had what 20. As I said the GODs were smiling in WEBB to pull out that victory. CJ had the game won and I honestly feel terrible for them especially the Devore kid for letting that one get away. But yes call it crazy or dumb whichever you choose but history and the following game as my evidence what WEBB does when not making mistakes. I think in good weather or even a QB used to playing in cold wet weather WEBB definitely beats CJ worse than Lamar did. I think thinking otherwise is crazy.
I just meant they actually did have a very good season. Hate kicking a fan after a beating. Posters like Joey just try to stir and get digs in then crawfish and say something else after the fact. At least Chaotic is a fan and just backed his team.
