Anyone know of a good skill camp for young players? Dates and places would be appreciated.

Not affiliated but received email about it from my sons spring league. This is what it says:

SHARP camp Hillcrest High School Springfield MO June 19th-20th

We break the campers into age/size according groups and keep the older group 6th-8th in their specific positions for offense and defense. The youth group 1st-5th we rotate and those athletes are coached up at every position.

Football Camp will begin at 6:00 P.M. and end at 9:00 P.M. June 19th, it will begin at 8:00 A.M. and end at 11:00 A.M. June 20th. It is recommended that participants arrive 20 minutes early for registration and grouping on June 20th. Athletes should bring cleats, shoes and water bottle and be accompanied by a guardian 18 years or older.

Camp will be instructed by Professional, College, and Local H.S. Coaches along with current and former MU/WY/KU/KSU and NFL Players as guest speakers and coaches. These coaches and players will teach the proper fundamentals of USA HEADS UP FOOTBALL and the highly valuable position specific drills used by the pros to keep your athlete working hard and excited about football throughout the summer.

Athletes will be electronically timed in the 10, 20, 40yd dashes using the Sharp Performance Speed Trap. They will also be tested in the Vertical Jump using the “Smart Pad” by Fusion Sport.

We encourage parents and coaches to attend and look forward to seeing you at camp!

**TEAM RATES Available**

8 or more players from the same team qualify for the Team discount rate ($115 per individual on the team) Team Managers should contact Sharp Performance at 785-643-3664 or email info@sharp-performance.com to obtain the team registration coupon. The coupon code will allow those registering as a team to unlock the discount "TEAM RATE" pricing option.

Stance- Start drills, Bag drills, Cone drills, Catching, Passing are all incorporated.

We structure our practices similar to a college practice starting off with individual periods followed by group then team periods.

It would be hard pressed to find a football drill that we don't do at camp or a close spin-off to those fundamental drills.

We will also teach athletes the proper 40yd dash start stance form. Every athlete will receive a print out of their 10, 20, 40 yard dash times along with their vertical leap results.
