You still don't understand our country.
Clintons popular vote margin was all in California. She got 3.8 million more votes just in California. Donald Trump had a margin of 1.3 million votes in the rest of the United States and its territories. The United States wants Trump for president. California wants Hillary and as far as I am concerned they can have the old hag.
This is such a dumb talking point
It's like saying Trump wouldn't have won if you don't count the Confederacy in the Electoral College. It's meaningless. California is about 1/8th of America. You can't pretend its votes don't exist.
Even if you want to talk this stupid talking point into consideration, California's influence in the electoral college and popular vote is entirely offset by arbitrary regions of red America that you could pick, such as Appalachia.
California's votes only matter in California, Clinton won all of their electors and I assume they will all vote for the loser today. I might have been able to vote for her if she had stood up and divorced Billy when Monica was doing him in the oval office. Now that was the shot heard round the world.
