So Toots...by that argument I guess the officials should have NOT called Dee Ford for "barely" lining up offsides in that 2019 AFC Championship game against Tom Brady...right? I mean...he was BARELY offsides...and you see this mis alignment NOT CALLED all the time...and it didn't REALLY affect the play...so, NO CALL on that one too?

If the teams had been reversed and it was the Eagles that won instead with the same circumstances, would there be as much talk about this nationally? I don't think so, because the national media has a coastal bias and roots for teams on either coast.

If the refs had been ignoring offsides all day and then suddenly called it late, you would have a valid comparison

Except for the NY media. They hate Philly and were mocking them on the Monday Sports section of the NY Post.

There was a ticky tack holding call made to make up for the missed call earlier in the game. Same two players involved. I would imagine the same ref.

The chiefs had one incomplete pass in the second half. They were going to win this game.

You can score 1000 points in a season and it dont mean squat, if you dont win a Super Bowl. NICE TRY!!!

Alright I will put the popcorn down and chime in for once. If a ref sees something they will call it. Do they miss things? Of course they do. Is it a penalty, yes. It was seen and then called. The way the game was going in the 2nd half it would not have mattered much. Ball would have gone back to the Eagles, they probably would have failed to get into field goal range because of the current momentum and the game would have gone into overtime where the Chiefs with the momentum would have ended it.
