I just argued with my son. When the ball was on the three with a little over a minute left I said: Try to score a TD. If you don’t score in 3 plays then kick a FG.

I explained if you try to score a TD you have 4 chances to score. If you take knees you have one chance to score. That’s stupid.

That’s the worst Auburn team in a long time. And their QB was out. And Mizzou lost to them any way.
Kansas State will outscore last week in the first quarter tonight, folks. Been awhile since I've seen such a focused, ANGRY bunch. K State never looks good the week before OU.
Doubt any coach teaches to switch hands from the sideline in. Coaches teach the opposite and we all know why. A consistently penalized team could be a coaching issue agree on that. If the all conference makes a chip shot from the center of the field all of this is moot at least for this game.
I’d rather score a TD and then trust my defense than trust any kicker. Taking knees is playing not to lose. You play to win the game.
Valuable lessons hopefully learned by a young team. It was a comedy of errors at the end.
Its not hard to jump not offsides. Youth coaches teach that starting with flag football. At some point in your career one has to take responsibility for your own actions.

Did you see the game? OU’s tackling was awful. KSU lost to Tulane. It takes more than one week to erase that stain.
Tackling was awful, Alignment was awful. D was just down right BAD. Looked like someone had been reading their press clippings and listening to how great they were and the Boys from Manhattan punched them in the mouth. Well, that and Adrian Martinez, forgot who he was and balled out.

It is year ONE after a really, really big offseason of change in Norman. They will be just fine over time but, as stated earlier, I only expected 8-9 wins this season and a middling finish in the Big XII.

That said, Tulane's defense was much better than Mizzou's and OUs (at least against KSU)
Yea. Well Tulane’s staunch defense gave up 27 and lost to a 2-2 S. Mississippi squad. What we have is a whole lot of mediocrity. Except the red hot juggernaut known as Kansas. Bahahahahaha

K State seems to gear their whole season at beating OU. They will return to their "mean" right away and that includes Martinez.
