You got embarrassed in every phase of the game by KSU who couldn’t beat the Freakin Green Wave.

well if we're comparing scores Mizzou beat La Tech by same amount as Clemson. Think it was 7-3 at halftime.

So Tulane is likely just behind Bama in the rankings.

Interesting fact about Tulane is that their Coach Willie Fritz was the UCM coach from 97-09.
Went from making $75k back at the beginning to $1.75 million now!

He's been on Mizzous short list of coaches in past searches.

Leipold at KU is making all of this seem even worse. Wonder if KU will be able to keep him after this year. I'd stay there and still make millions vs. making more millions in a pressure cooker like Lincoln.

I was hoping they would hire Willie when Drink got the job.

10 wins is a fireable offense.

Year 3 for Drink. You have to give him 5 years to turn it around. Another good recruiting class will be huge. With the transfer portal and NIL money, it's the wild west and afraid all Mi$$ou has is a muzzle loader!!

Mizzou has multiple collectives set up for NIL monies. They are far ahead of many programs and states without specific NIL laws.

Do they have "Texas" money? Like $280,000 for a recruiting visit?? Or $50,000 for every lineman?

Lets face it. It is now just another professional league...........with no salary caps!!!!! I'm close to bailing completely.
I hear ya!! I was naive enough to think they would pay all the athletes a couple hundred bucks a week spending money, not pay the stars more money than the average Joe makes.

It offends me that in a round about way I am paying for the education, room, and board of a college stud athlete who will be making more money than most taxpayers.

The NCAA has essentially washed it's hands of the entire issue, basically saying to schools, "You wanted it, now you make the rules and you oversee it".

It is amazing that in the age of the transfer portal that Mizzou doesnt have a better option at quarterback. With the portal and ease of transferring every SEC team should have a Top 30 type quarterback year in and year out. Take South Carolina for example, which is an awful program right now but has Spencer Rattler that transferred in. Rattler has his faults of course but I am sure Mizzou would take him in a heartbeat. MO State has the best QB in the state right now and its not close.

They went after a bunch of QBs. Apparently the $$ wasn't right.

Edit: or they knew how bad the Oline was going to be. Odom did Drink no favors in recruiting.

What other choice do they (NCAA) have ?

I dont know the $$$ specifics what a player gets, not many do. Texas has the #1 ranked athletic budget in the country last time i checked which has been a couple years. Mizzou isnt close to that but for NIL purposes they have more than many and far from a muzzle loader as you claim. Cayden Green went to OU but they were outbid by a middling Big 10 program. Not always about the $$$.

Nebraska’s hideous QB transferred to K-State and still humiliated Drink’s team.
