It’s not a mic drop. Nobody ever said there was no correlation. They just said it wasn’t necessarily causation. Pick the mic back up and hand it to the appropriate person now.

Ipso facto I never said there was a causation either. All the circular arguments you guys make in an attempt to Dispel the notion that the game is not about speed are hilarious.
Hahah excuses excuses.

1) You stated it would take 10.8 to get out of your sectional. KEKW no.
2) Fastest guy on the field talk was rubbish.

And one more point on #2...again you are WRONG

K plays Fort O., Smithville, Park Hill, Grandview, NKC, Park Hill, Grain Valley, Ray South, Tonka and ES.
Not one 100m coming back on any of those teams faster than Noland. Bahahah

The only rubbish is your brain moving keys on a keyboard and typing...

You seem triggered.

Do you drive a lifted dodge truck with big mirrors?

Joey wrong.

Again, the #1 time recorded in class 2 would be the FIFTH BEST TIME In CLASS 4 (spoken real slow...you know like you have to speak slow to slow people sometimes.) ThE BEST TIME IN CLASS 2...would...be...the FIFTH (that means #5) in ....CLASS...4 Bahahahaha

Joey 10.8 won class 4.

That gets you 5th in class 2.

Ope.

I have always thought good football schools would have good track and wrestling programs. I think track is more correlated with good football than wrestling these days. Exhibit A is that Webb City sucks at wrestling.

WTH Joey... Perhaps Ktown should schedule a road trip to big D and play Duncanville. Some of their state meet track times were: 4X100 39.47, 4X200 1:22.25 and 4X400 3:11.51 ! Their fastest 100m kid finished 3rd with a 10.46 ! 10.19 won it ! Good luck !!!

You truly have a persecution complex don’t you? All anyone has ever said is that it’s not just about speed, that there are other factors involved, of which speed is one, and an important one.

Class 2

He's stating that you said 10.8 would be needed to get out of Sectionals (not sure if you did or not), that was not the case for Sectionals though, only one ran with a 10 anything to make it to State.

Not sure about the Weddington kid pulling his hamstring as he was able to advance in the 200's at Sectionals. Now he did pull up in the 100 (maybe a cramp). But you don't pull your hamstring and then still go qualify with the quality of sprinters at that meet (plus the Weddington kid has a history of minor injuries during meets)

VEER - I also don't understand you stating the time that won state would be 5th in Class 2. You are comparing one time at State (what was needed to win) to the best times ran all year. That doesn't make much sense. I'm not going to look up the Finals of Class 2 but I'm guessing the top 4 at State did not run the Top 4 times all year either. Every meet has different environments. Your argument is of no argument.

The times in the state finals is what im talking about.

Same track, one weekend apart. Joey wasn't hand timing at state.

You would think it would be a lot but maybe not

Nobody’s doing any hand times except in your little class 1-2 meets bro. Hilarious earlier this season when you thought the guy had run like a 10.4 when it was really a 10 74 when they recalculated for it being hand times and wind aided.

Take all of the top runners from class 4 and average their five fastest times and then do that for class two and you will see that the top runner from class 2 is maybe #6 level in C4.

Better buy bigger tires.

At the state meet, fastest time recorded in Class 4 and 2 was Class 4s Jacob Fieberkorn in the prelims.

Or I suppose now you are going to say ONLY the finals at state count? Bahahaha

This is all too long for me to read, but you may take into consideration that times at districts, sectionals, and the state meet are not always the biggest priority. You need to take in consideration team scores, team goals, amount of events a kid is in, time between events, etc. and many times kids are just running to advance. This may mean winning first place or setting a record time is not always the ultimate goal.

I have always thought good football schools would have good track and wrestling programs. I think track is more correlated with good football than wrestling these days. Exhibit A is that Webb City sucks at wrestling.
I think that could be more a correlation to what sports those Football Athletes want to play.
I was watching some kids work out in offseason, I watched 3 baseball players beat our track teams fasted kid.
