Once you run for politcal office you are by it's nature forced into a reproduction of political ideology. Perhaps if the football coach were a nationally known hero he would have a fighting chance. Hillary is the former first lady, Trump is known for his TV show etc... The best candidate doesn't always get nominated. I like your thought, but it's not practical. I know you knew that. So thanks in advance.
