@CoachRoseIvey

Thank you
@ChrismanBearsFB
for the opportunity to be the head football coach the past 3 years. I unfortunately will not be returning as the head coach next season. I appreciate all those who supported our program and wish the William Chrisman community nothing but the best. I am open to all coaching opportunities for the upcoming season. Please reach out directly.

They've lost their best boys basketball coach they've ever had this past summer and the best track coach they've ever had two years ago. I think the cupboard is bare. Chrisman had a nice stretch of success 2017+ with some great athletes but appears to be on hard times again.

They do have some athletes. Thoughts on why it's never translated to success on the football field?

Any new news on the search?

16 was a great year for Chrisman

Inside hire prolly not the best choice for a school with talent but bad culture. Benefit of the doubt goes to them as they have more information.

I see o cord and d crod hired all the time that fail
No doubt... what does that have to do with number of applicant pool?

I mean more people fail and are fired than that have a long winning success, so I don't disagree with your premise

and what does a position coach that gets hired have to do with number of applicants?
I get your premise though

lol
not really
it will be ok
it will be ok, Chrisman has a new coach, new field, and an opportunity to harness the talent in the hallways. However dissecting the hire is normal and this one does appear to not have had any game changers in the pool or the school chose not to go with them which would be baffling. I have nothing but hope for the new coach and cant wait to see what they do.

I believe George Allen said, football coaches are always close to being fired. That is a part of this profession that I don't agree with. Pro and college is a different species than high school ball. Unless your a private school you play with what your dealt with. Some people have to play kids that wouldn't see the field. Football is an unforgiving sport.

Unfortunately Mommy and Daddy don't see it that way. Their son or daughter is the greatest thing since sliced bread and a future All American... just ask them ! ;)

Yes sir and that's one of the reasons public and private shouldn't be in the same playoff system.
