I was impressed with Parkview. They looked good. They beat Willard and Hillcrest in both quarters and split with Miller. Hillcrest looked rough. How can a school that size not have a competitive team. Willard will be down a little this year. Miller looked like a team that has only had about 6 practices (Volleyball) and trying to learn a new system under a new coach. It was nice to watch some basketball again though.

The PG for Parkview is only a soph but lightning quick and fast, those type of players are always the biggest difference makers on girls bball teams (like Lacy Stokes or Emma Compton) and she's only going to get better. That said, it is kind of surprising they did that well considering they lost their two leading scorers from last year and on the face of it didn't have a lot returning.

Hillcrest has been down for several years now, since they went to the final four in 2015, but they are trying. They had most of those girls and a younger group playing together all summer.

Willard will get better as the season goes along. They have a great coach and some good athletes.

Miller will be fine too.

I am a little surprised Parkview did so well I was figuring them to be in the middle of the pack in the OC?

Miller just needs to get their feet on the ground they will be a tough out as the season progresses.
