It isn't proof but it is as valuable of information as the obligatory stories about the random child on a ventilator. There are exceptions in everything.
Other countries deeper into this illness say the drug helps.....some say a lot.
It’s good that people are trying things. But come on that’s an anecdote. Not a controlled trial of a drug. A 52 year old recovering from coronavirus one time in front of doctors who’ve never treated it before is not proof that a drug does or does not work.
No, they don’t. They are trying it and many other potential treatments No country or serious health agency is saying it works. Stop with the misinformation.
this is exactly why trump can’t say this stuff! He pitches a miracle cure and somehow people start hearing other countries say it works. No, they aren’t saying that. Some doctor in France wrote a lousy paper on an uncontrolled sample size of 20 patients. 20. That’s where this came from.

Well if you watched the video within the article, there was actually a second person who credits the drug with helping him combat the virus and even says it’s helped SK.
But why would you read/listen to the whole article.

and again that article flat sucks as evidence of anything. For one they’re not going to interview someone who took it and died because they’re dead. And two there’s a reason we base medical treatments on controlled trials of what works and what does. You have to study a population with a credible sample size and compare it to a sample that doesn’t get the drug. Lots of 52 year olds get the disease and go home fine without getting the drug. That doesn’t tell you anything on its own
People you should be very skeptical of any of these claims. There’s going to be a lot of people trying to pretend they have a solution. Let the experts work on it and experiment. They’ll let us know when they have something. Listen to them. Stay home with your close family. Wash your hands. Do the right thing.

Trying is fine. We should be trying a lot of things. But don’t pretend we know anything yet. 1 or 2 people living is not evidence of anything.

There are ways to manage this without the Federal Government willfully plunging us into a depression. It's not a perfect, nor completely safe, but it's not that hard. We would not need Democrats for any reason other than the one thing they should be doing now. So a depression makes them relevant again. Expect the worst.

Pelosi shows up with Schumer's nuts in her purse and rejects the Republican bill out of hand though it had been worked on and writes a new bill by inserting random garbage. She then prevents any type of discussion by filibustering 3 separate times.
Now you can have a reasonable conversation in the oversight provisions on the loans to be provided by the treasury department. I've already posted my personal preference. We both know the banks are in the best position to decide who is going to survive and who isn't. I don't want politicians with no expertise in business deciding who and how these loans are handed out. I don't like Treasury doing it either. If the banks, backed by the Treasury, are taking the risk they're more likely to decide what is best. Certainly not these morons in congress particularly by the democrat side as shown clearly in their garbage bill and the debate they were having.

Some Doctors are totally on board with using the Medication,I went to the Doctor today for my 6 month check up. Doctor asked me the standard questions, then inquired about C19 and if I had symptoms. I said Nope,then he started talking about Chloroquine and that it was having a high success rate in treating C19,had a colleague who was having success with it...I said yeah weird it's based on quinine...you know the stuff that's in Tonic water and was made from Tree Bark before they made a synthetic version.
He said he didn't think that was right at all, I told him I thought it was and that My GF was a Epi. RN with Microbiology degree worked for the Health Dept. and was on the CDC task force had told me that. He left and then came back and told me I was right....This made me take pause a pit, all that is pretty common knowledge off the intraweb and in several articles as well.
Then He told me he wouldn't hesitate to prescribe it to a Patient at all. Which Hey I like that even if it doesn't help it safe to take, military people etc. take it all the time.

Because people with lupus and other diseases need these drugs for proven care, and morons are hoarding them for unproven treatments. He banned their use for COVID-19 outside of hospitals - if you go to the ER and the doctor wants to prescribe it to you, he or she can do so in Nevada. He didn't ban their use as treatment for the people who really need them.
He made it so some idiotic doctor can't get 17 prescriptions for his family the next time they get the sniffles as a "preventive" measure or nonsense like that. That way if hospitals want them for COVID treatments, they have them, and the people who need to take it every day for autoimmune diseases also have them.

I'm not aware of people being treated outside the hospital since it isn't "proven". Unless you can walk into Walgreens and get it over the counter, there is no way to get it without a script so the supply should be fine (it's not toilet paper). I think the supply is adequate since Israel gave us several million doses.
I would feel better about the governors actions though if what you say is accurate.
