Probably what the Democrats shouldn't do is to suggest that all Americans are racists and evil.
MLK and FD suggested the foundations of America are good. That most Americans are on the better side. And most Americans do not stand for brutality and racism. And we all stand together against this.
Wouldn't this be a better message? Wouldn't this be a more unifying message? But this isn't the message.
The systemically Democrat message is America is evil and terrible, unless you elect us, and it becomes wonderful again. And when we are not in the office the system is racist and terrible so elect us so it will become wonderful again.
Also, you should not be so violent, because if you're a little bit violent, it doesn't look so good and hurts us in the polls. I don't think this is sustainable.
As for the NBA, you can't call half of your viewing audience racists. It turns out people don't wish to labeled evil, for a disagreeing political belief about the nature of the American system. By people who earn way more money than they do, and earn that money at their pleasure.
