Realizing that Jamboree are scrimmages and different teams look to get different things out of them - who won the various jamboree? who looked good - who didn't...

Not sure I would use the word won but Ray Pec looked good against Kearney.

Adrian over Knob Noster, Appleton City and Sherwood
Butler over Archie, Windsor, and Drexel
Wellington over North Platte and Orrick
Crest Ridge over Polo and KC East
Sweet Springs over St. Paul's, Santa Fe and Concordia

They keep score at jamborees now? Is that a regional thing, because I don't think we do in the southwest region.

no scoring, just observations on which teams looked the best in their respective jamborees.

I did not see trainer for any of the schools working on kids so WC, Joplin, Nixa, & Seneca all won.

So true. Jamborees are by and large fools gold anyway. You can tell when one team clearly outclasses another team but players are kept out, teams seldom run anything but base offense and in many cases coaches are still evaluating position battles and not so much trying to win a practice. Throw in about 1/3 of the plays in the jamboree involve one if not both teams back-ups and JV.

Tonight reinforced why I don't put too much stock in jamborees. In the Joplin Jamboree Webb City looked pretty solid. Also based on what I read on here Carthage handled Carl Junctiion in their jamboree. WC and Carthage both lose and Seneca who really struggled in the Joplin jamboree rolls over Nevada.
