Who is your big winners of the day?

Not to mention its Shootout Weekend. Full supply of powdered sugar available as well lol.
Wasn't aware of that. Social calendar is primed this weekend. Those two crowds crossing paths could make for some interesting gatherings.

Okay you two bozos!!! For one, we dont even have a Golden Corral in Ampipe!! And if I am choosing some place to eat ate, I am NOT going there!! Second, that is a BLIMP!!! NO ONE uses blimps anymore. Your GIF would have been better if had just used a generic fat guy. NICE TRY!!!
When you use the term GIF, do you pronounce it GIF or GIF?

Lamar staying in Class 2 has to be the biggest winner.
The difference between classes 2 and 3 has to be the biggest talent gap of any of the classes. Lamar would still be very good in class 3, (see their big 8 history) but the degree of difficulty from the district semis on is not even close.

Mshsaa is the only thing that’s getting Lamar closer to a class 3 school. Lamar doesn’t have any business being in class 3. They are even in the new format several spots away from the biggest school in class 2. I’m sure regardless of who stayed/left from this new format/shake up Lamar would gear up and play whoever and give them a game. Routinely class 3 BO got all they could handle from Lamar last year. BO could’ve won/made it one hell of a game in class 3 last year.

Biggest losers are the Class 2 teams moving up from the shrinkage of Class 1. Class 3 is deep.
I will say the “Yo Adrian” is the biggest loser of all the smaller schools. Bumped to class two and put in Lamar’s district. But hey it’s only a 67 mile drive straight down 49.

that's why you divide it evenly. It's not rocket surgery.
Class 1 travel times are a travesty. I can't believe those superintendents aren't on the phone chewing some folks at MSHSAA.
I think the thought process was to avoid size discrepancy in class 1 so that so that the smaller teams weren't paired with teams with double the enrollment.

There IS no PERFECT system that is fair and just for all teams. Somebody will always be the largest and somebody will always be the biggest in each class no matter how you divide them up.

And when you start in one corner of the state and start to "pin-out" district assignments for a group of schools...somebody is always going to get stuck with some long travel issues in at least one or two of the classes.

Also...some districts will be way stronger and deeper than others when you assign districts based on geography.

Life is not always fair...and neither is district football...somebody always draws the short straw.

Big winner? All the Class 1 schools that fought to get any real challengers out of the way.
Have you coached at a c1 school? Your stuck with a certain number. There is only so many kids. Classes with small numbers of boys, boys not playing. Those really limit the number of players. Class 2 and up at least should have enough boys per class that they can get kids out. I was at a c2 school that had 50 kids out. I was also at a c5 school that had 50 kids out.

Sounds like the coach at that C5 school needed to do a little better job working the hallways.

Can anyone explain why University Academy Ewing Kaufmann in KC is not in a district? Did MSHSAA just forget them?
Missouri Scoop twitter account
Due to a clerical error made during registration, University Academy currently finds itself without a district and will miss district and post season play this season. They are currently trying to appeal with MSHSAA so hoping that goes through.

Looked to me like they were only a couple schools away from class 3?
