well kenny is glad that didn't happen since he made a remark many moons ago about who would get to the top 5 first...Mizzou or FSU.Well then higher lol, they're an SEC team they'd be talking about them for the CFP if they didnt lose this
Butt-hurt Royals fan never cease to amaze me, that's all...For the record, I get embarrassed nearly every time I go to a Cards game. BFIBs are the worst. Can't disagree with Veer, that section of the fan base ranks right up there with the worst.

Idk...I'm a KC transplant (grew up in So IL and SEMO, so always been an STL fan) and have grown to love the Chiefs. It happened when we moved here last year. I get it, bandwagon and all. But they're just really fun to watch, this place goes NUTS for them, and they remind me of the Greatest Show on Turf. The town is just electric when they play, especially at home. It's a lot like STL when the Birds are in the playoffs really. I tend to like Chiefs fans. But I tend to enjoy Royals fans too. It's just the bunch that tries to manufacture some sort of rivalry with the Cards that I don't get.chiefs fans are the same fans. Horrible fan base
Lemme guess...Royals fan that thinks there’s a rivalry with the Cards?

It was an educated guess. No, insecurity in the least. I'm sure you'll find some weird BFIBs that might, but every fan base has that. The Cards have a rival, it's the Cubs. It will always be the Cubs. Feel free and ask any Cards fan. Heck, I'd prefer the Royals to actually be good and fun to watch again. I'd like to go to some games and not see really bad baseball. Hoping the new ownership will fix that. Just hope they don't hire Matheny. Oof.Having not even professed to being a Royals fan, some were quick to jump on the assumption train. Perhaps there is insecurity and a threat of rivalry after all? First step is admitting. Having visited with a Yankee fan awhile back who moved to the area later in life, he grumbles about the Cardinal culture as well and his team has more titles. Just doubting it is a Kansas City issue only with the Redbirds. And just to protect the rep on the Yankee fan, he grew up in Nebraska in the '50s, where the only thing known was Yankees and more Yankees.

I grew up in the 70s and 80s in KC. The Cards were like an old has-been team that I hardly noticed. Rivalry? Hardly--the Cards sucked. The Royals won division titles almost every year back then. Then after the Royals beat the Cards...all of a sudden I hear about this rivalry. Nonsense.

The cardinals went to the World Series three times during the 80's. 2nd most pennants and WS titles after the yanks. Who is the irrelevant has been team again? I think I misread this
I went to Busch stadium in 1981...The Royals had won the 76',77'78' and 80" division titles and American League in 1980. The Cards hadn't won jack squat, they marched out Bob Gibson and some other old dude. Then I watched Dave Kingman rip a HR and beat the cards.. In my mind, has-been team. It just stuck. When was the Cards last pennant? Seems like the Royals have won two in the past couple years. 2013?
Here's your example of butt hurt Royals fan. You don't hear about a rivalry from Cards fans. Like actual fans, not the annoying BFIB crowd. Historically the Birds are #2 in most measurable categories of franchise success. I love your KC HS football knowledge and takes, but man, you're off on this one. The mid to late 70s were rough, as were the late 80s early 90s. I'll give you that one.I grew up in the 70s and 80s in KC. The Cards were like an old has-been team that I hardly noticed. Rivalry? The Royals (LOL I CANT BELIEVE WE ARE ACTUALLY HAVING A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE ROYALS MY LORD) have just 2 titles in Team history and 4 pennant in team history.
The Cardinals have More Pennants last 15 years than the last 50 years of terrible Royals baseball.
I pray and hope you think better about going down this Road. No professional Sport in KC is better or ever has been better than any St. Louis Team.
Lets relax.

Dude, ultimate lil bro statement. It's just so weird to me, especially if you believe this to be some barometer of franchise success.Since 1985, the Cards have won excactly two WS. Same as the Royals. Bahaha
Strangest damned thing. Think we should break it to them that wins are generally measured one season at a time?Cubs fans bring up games won too. Jesus...

I’m still waiting for a decent argument from you on a topic, it’s still never happened.
Longevity and arrogance do not equal success....Cardinal fans.
Literally the 2nd most successful team in the history of the sport. You actually cant be any more wrong than you are right now.
spoken like a true Gateway Guy...Cubs and Royals fans are insufferable.
I get back from the Louisiana coast to read....................BASEBALL %^$#. WowCubs fans bring up games won too. Jesus...
