Even if Bama loses, has to be Bama, Clemson, A@M, then who? Notre Dame or Ohio State? Does USC have an argument? Same record at Ohio State. Seems to me Notre Dame by playing the most games of that group, with only 1 loss, should be in. Obv this season being such a mess there may be no real rhyme nor reason to punish or reward teams for the number of games they were able to play.

why would A&M jump Notre dame or ohio state?

A&M played 9 games, only lost to #1 Alabama, only 1 loss in an SEC only schedule.
Ohio State only played 6 games, really only played 1 decent team in NWestern.
Notre Dame only because they lost the most recent.....
Tough decisions, I do think the teams playing 9 or 10 games should be worth a little more than only playing 5 or 6. Obv this season is nothing normal.

If Cincinnati wins put them in. Leave ND out. Does anyone really think if Lawrence and Clemson’s best defender had played in their first meeting that ND would have won, no way.
If Cincy gets in and gets blown out then so be it, at least they will have given the undefeated little guy the chance. This is the perfect season to shake things up

With Ohio State and ND in it sure seems like the good ole boys met and ironed this one out. Yes it reeks of back room meetings and conspiracy theories.

How about really shaking it up and putting in 8 teams!
