Trying to decide between these three games

Willard @ Webb City : Curious if the Cardinals build on their win against Republic, and I have yet to see Willard in action.

Neosho @ Carl Junction: Saw the Wildcats and Ozark game with that exciting finish, also watched CJ beat WC. This game seems to be a very good matchup.

Lamar @ Monett: Supposed to be a big matchup in the big 8

Wow, not sure you can go wrong with any of those three... If it were me.. I would go to Monett. (the game is there not Lamar) If you decide not to go to that one... the CJ - Neosho game would be next.

I would hit CJ-Neosho.
I truly think Lamar will handle Monett a lot easier than most think and the Willard-Webb game to me is a moot point due to the fact that neither of them will win the COC-Large this year.

All three good ones...Where can you get the best pre-game meal???

I'd vote Willard @ Webb and hit up Hacketts in Joplin pre-game. Grab a pound or two of wings and a couple cold ones and head over.

If I were picking between the 3 I think Neosho at CJ would be the most interesting but Lamar at Monett could be good as well. Still I think the best bet is Neosho/CJ. Unless you have a special interest in WC it's not a high profile game like the other two. If WC wins, it's not a big win, they move to .500. If they lose then it will be an unusually subdued home crowd. I doubt Willard will bring a lot of fans so it's unlikely to have the energy and atmosphere of the other two games. Plus if you go to one of the other two, you can avoid having to listen to all the really loud tv commercials WC plays on the video board.

I will be at Monett, hopefully this is as good of game as the hype surrounding it.

As for a meal in Monett depends on what you like but the Bayou which is Cajun & Creole Restaurant is something different.

However if I was not from Monett, I would like to see that Neosho CJ match up.

Another possible good match up could be Camdenton and the Poo.

I am hearing the CJ QB is out this week and the back up already played in the JV game so he is ineligible. Any confirmation?

I don't think that would be true because the quarters limit only extends over a three day period if I'm correct.

I'm guessing that must be the case, otherwise why play the back-up in the JV game? More likely if the back-up plays then he would not play, or at least not more than a couple quarters in the next JV game.

They changed that rule several years ago. You now just get a Total #of qtrs for the year. Also Kicking downs do not count agains Qtr count.
