Cooky's on Friday then Smith's in Collins on Saturday (although there is a good BBQ place in Osceola on the way to the field).

The youngest made a push this week to go to Fayetteville for Oklahoma State at Arkansas in a fall baseball exhibition game (free admission), but it starts at 6 p.m. and can't get away from work in time to make it.

Was contemplating stepping into Kansas to watch Coffeyville play Labette County at Altamont ... however, Carl Junction has its final regular season home game so might as well walk over to Bulldog Stadium for Hafner Bowl Part II. The only question will be is if the second half has a running clock again.

Crossing the State circa 1 PM tomorrow................heading over to Wildwood MO to catch a pair of C5 unbeaten next door neighbors Eureka and Lafayette.

Appleton City-Lockwood and Hardin Central-Braymer next week!

I plan on going to Braymer at Norborne/Hardin-Central (in Hardin) next week. Both are undefeated the the conference title and top seed in district 4 on the line. Lockwood-Appleton City is a GREAT game though. I wish one of these games was this week instead.
