China spends billions propping up their manufacturing segment. IF we have to subsidize farmers for a few years to break the Chicoms grip on our manufacturing segment so be it.
Clinton, Bush and Obama just kicked the can down the road on every major issue. Nice to have someone in charge not afraid to man up and do something

Trump is hardly a fiscal conservative but it isn't like Hillary would have been better.

You keep saying that when I'm sure you know the bigger that debt gets the harder it is to double it. I wouldn't bet against Trump doing it if he stays around for 8 years.
It went from 4 to nine under Bush and nine to twenty under Obama. It got bigger but that didn't stop them. 2 trillion a year wouldn't double it for Trump and he's averaging about 1 trillion, about the same as Obama even after the huge tax cut for the rich that was supposed to "explode the debt".
I haven't heard that number, I have heard 2 trillion. What ever happen to pubs wanting to cut the deficit and debt? The question to start this thread asked where is the Tea Party. It appears they have become irrelevant under this administration and now Trump is letting John Bolton talk him into a war with Iran!

The Tea Party dissolved into the Republican, Libertarian, and Constitution Parties. Much in the same way the Socialists are dissolving into the Democratic Party.
Hey, you're absolutely right. Private sector shouldn't be using government funds for R&D.
Tea party is setting IN the Oval Office at 1600Pennsylvania Ave, Washington D.C.
And the government needs to get out of the welfare business altogether.
About everyone on the earth will figure out a way to work and support themselves if you stop welfare and they get hungry enough

Tell us dummies what about Trump is ANYTHING like the Tea Party and what about Trump is anything like a fiscal conservative?
Only thing I know for sure is the tea party only existed because they hated brown people. Because I havent seen one tea party protest about our deficits since dictator Trump took over.
