Where are we numbers wise?

Better numbers than I would have guessed. Class of 2023 had 20+ seniors and went undefeated freshmen year. Current Class of Seniors went winless freshmen year. 91 is the 2nd highest roster total they've ever posted I believe, but they also may be looking at their highest enrollment in history and are on the verge of jumping to Class 6 in a few years
I talked to a guy who went to the scrimmage. Of course it's a scrimmage but his observations were these:

Offense looks good
Defense has a ways to go
QB looks very solid
There is a freshman who may become a big deal.

Said they aren't going to win the COC but thinks they will still put out a winning season.

Is said freshman a skill player or a lineman?

Well the plus is that the webb freshmen and 8th are loaded. Webb has a chance to take it this year followed by a very down year next year and an sub average after that before getting back on track.

I don't know what position he's playing, but the guy I talked to said he was lightning fast, broke through the line with ease numerous times, no one could catch him. I assumed he was some kind of skill player.

Jim Thorpe has enrolled at Webb City..!

Keep your comments limited to 8 man.
