Wrong forum.

Dude if KC vs. StL is really that big a deal for you, you need counseling. I know some good therapists who could definitely help with your insecurity.

Of course, they're all in the St. Louis area...

That’s been a thing forever. Apparently when you cross 44 you get kids who only drink whole milk and bench press VW’s. This side has been neglected and only allowed to drink Silk.

Looking at Class 2 and 3 I think you could say SWMO owns wrestling.... But, one thing for sure.. ALL the power is on the Western part of the state..
And if you said that, you'd be pretty far off-base.
In Classes 2 and 3 in the last 10 seasons, 11 teams have won state titles that were not from Southwest Missouri- so over half. So, as is often the case, some from that part of the state, in their struggle to be recognized as good at something, might exaggerate the accomplishments of the great Southwest.

And Clay County owns Class 4 and 3. And has a 5-3 record versus Webb in football. Kearney 4-3 and Excelsior 1-0. Just thought I'd mention that again. LOL

There is just a ton more schools from the KC area and congrats to them that takes nothing away from what they have done nor should it take away from anything the Southwest schools have done.

All I know is Monett is Class 2, 2 time defending Champ. Go Cubs!!

I am surprised they haven’t voted Meat in. They typically allow in everyone except disabled American heroes like Gerry Bourtier.

Easy there Duck! Many people have been on the ballot but few have made it in. That includes your precious Gerry Bourtier who is dead! He HAD to be voted in and didnt make the cut! Get over it!!!

Figured I'd throw in that Carthage has the best 220lb wrestler in any class in the state...the others in class 4 were mighty lucky he had an ab tear. It's cool though because he was also the best linebacker in any class in the state this year.

I didnt watch or follow wrestling but Odessa sure did come close to it's first ever state wrestling title! Congrats to the Cubs!

Neosho owns their class, no doubt!

As far as football, how many state titles does Webb City have and how many does Kearney have?

And one more thing, the Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl Champions!!!

Since it's come up, I'll explain (a little). The National board (tMB) that I post on has undergone a major change in moderation, from volunteer everyday posters to a single corporate moderator who doesn't post. This was in response to a worst poster tournament ala March Madness put on by them last year. While a humorous idea with good intentions (1/2 the bracket challenge proceeds went to charity), of course feelings got hurt. The runner up took it to Yahoo corporate and an investigation determined to avoid costly litigation the perps would be perma-banned and the moderators would be changed.

Since this change due to a total lack of moderation both the quality and quantity of posters and posts has taken a critical hit on tMB. A breakaway group has looked at sites on the Rivals network to set up temporary shop until a permanent home can be found. That post was part of exploration for that temporary home, to see if the board was indeed low traffic enough. I'm sure the quick response to that provocative OP steered them elsewhere.

Sounds like the Doc Guys have a new rival!

They have all kinds of 'Doc Guys', but not in an organized way as here. Gif usage is much more advanced, many homemade. There are unwritten rules that used to be strictly adhered to but are rarely enforced anymore. The thing that keeps me coming back is breaking news. One example is the raid on Bin Laden, which we had prior warning of from a former seal, but every major news event is at least broken at the same time as news organizations but most times much sooner. It's a general discussion board with college football as the major theme, and discussions on history and science are eye opening, but it's mostly sophomoric humor.

Long story short while it would be interesting to see the interaction, it would certainly ruin this board. I'm glad they chose elsewhere to crash on a couch, and full disclosure yes I was included in the group.
