Releasing districts on "Opening Day" is such a terrible approach. Kids and coaches' heads are already full of too much and dealing with a lot that day, and to throw in finding out your postseason fate on the same day is a bit too heavy for the young ones. I get waiting to see who will have a team...but I think coming out on Jamboree day or some day this week could work. If a team says they're fielding a postseason team and then they fold, fine them...a lot.
