Just so you know how Louis DeJoy is doing, on June 8 I ordered some footwear from REI online. On June 10 those boots arrived at the USPS St Louis Distribution Center (STL). 60 miles from my home.

After sitting around for a couple of days they went to a small town in Illinois(6/12). The next day they went to Champaign IL (238 miles from my home) This morning (6/14) at 5:00am they landed back at STL and were sent some where this afternoon at 1:38. But not here.

The post office has been running at a loss for decades, they have been bleeding money forever. Their rates are set by Congress so they can't increase fees to raise revenue. The only way they can get n the black or at least break even is to cut expenses. 30 years of lecturing for 50 minutes an hour every day, has to be the most monotonous task.
I sure wish something like hands-on activities were available for you to have used. Guessing you stopped using them toward the end since lecturing has gotten more popular.

I lucked into the best classroom on our campus. It was the size of 2-3 rooms. There were no chrome books in those days but I had 30 computers around the outside wall and a regular classroom with tons of space in the middle for people to get up and move around or have stations set up. I was very fortunate.

A little reading. A little lecturing. Graphic presentation. Verbal presentation. Cooperative learning. Role playing. Computer activities. Relating the course objectives to their life experiences and goals. A little humor. I’m sure the boys learned very little.
