What schools are moving out of football districts?

Since the release of the 2014 and 2015 District Assignments the following schools either dropped or went to 8-man. My question is: which schools (if any) are coming back to 11-man? Which are staying 8-man? Which are dropping football altogether?

Also, what other schools are going to 8-man this cycle? I've heard North Shelby.

Any new schools joining or adding football?

Any schools closing or dropping football that competed this year?

Trying to compile a list of projected classes, since apparently MSHSAA isn't going to put enrollment numbers on the site before districts are released.

Class 1
Greenfield (8-man)
McAuley Catholic (8-man)
Sacred Heart (8-man)

Class 2
Madison Prep (closed)
Maplewood (no football this year)

I believe those were the only byes on the bracket this year (besides Class 5).

Going to 8-Man North Shelby, Braymer and I think another GRC school. King City?

KC Southwest is closing its doors May 2016.

You should post the projections when you're done. As long as Southern Boone isn't in a district with 4 other Tri-County teams including Blair Oaks and California I'm cool with it.

I don't know that we can get close enough to predict districts but it looks like we are going to be down anywhere from 5-8 11-man programs next cycle so based on that by looking at some of the programs near the cut lines you can have a decent idea who is moving up or down. I think in most cases it will be teams moving down, not moving up.

Frog I agree with you too many small programs struggling right now.

Just from the numbers on the site (if correct) it looks like if we are going with -5 as the number it looks like the teams moving from Class 5 down to Class 4 would be:

Parkway West 1176
McCleur 1183
Rolla 1213
Carthage 1256
Ladue 1270

It also says Blair Oaks would move back down to Class 2. That would be a pretty odd feeling to make it to a Class 3 semifinal game and then get moved down a class

Kearney went to the C5 semis in 2013 then moved down.

I heard Carthage is willing to fudge the numbers to stay in class 5,..

While I'm sure that is tongue in cheek, there are some pretty wide gaps in enrollment in the schools in the bottom of Class 5 so Carthage might have to find another 25-30 students to do that.

The interesting one would be Rolla. If that happens there would be 3 Class 4 programs in the Ozark conference.
