We had done this instead? And don’t make a stupid comment unless you actually are a grown up who will read the entire article, so you can truly understand an issue for a change.

I don't care to frame it around the economy (I realize that's one selling point) so much but I do agree that it will help families. Kids might get married and afford to buy a home as the article points out.
The core problem needs to be addressed, starting with Univ. accountability. They should be required to co-sign on student loans.
The fundamental gravy train of loans and unlimited tuition prices needs to be blown up.

The entire premise of people taking out gigantic loans to pay for college then expecting ME to pay it off for them is beyond stupid. Student loans and scholarships are just fueling the spiral of college costs. If colleges had to have a curriculum that people could pay for without going into debt major change would take place.

THIS!
WHY should anyone besides the people who run up the debt pay for it? It teaches entitlement, lack of responsibility, and irresponsibility to bail them out. It is absolutely stupid to take out these huge loans and think you aren't responsible for them.

So young folk shouldn't have to pay for the debt you liberals ran up?

Good call

You think a nations debt is equivalent to personal debt? Good call.
I oppose virtually all government spending outside of defense and border control. Even so, I believe WE should pay our debt not someone else.

You keep voting for the worst deficit spenders

This is a valid argument.
But honestly, the Pubs, Libert. and Dims, pretend that economics is the answer to our fundamental problems is false. It's one big circle jerk.

and you are the pivot.
Yes. Dems.." Trump is blah, blah, blah, his supporters are blah, blah, blah, therefore, forfeit all your freedoms to us, because we know better and BTW we hate you more than we hate Trump".-DNC
