Well, I might take a plane I might take a train
But if I have to walk I'm going just the same
I'm going to Kansas City
Kansas City, here I come
They got some crazy little women there
And I'm gonna get me one

Your starting pitchers still suck. Houston just choked. That 8th inning lasted 40 minutes.

Lets see if cuedo can get his act together. Hes been bad; especially early in games

Don' blame you Runny the Royals are like a bunch of Zombies you just can't kill them. Congrats and have fun in KC

Ole JC will be on watch from inning one on.................only help the Astros get in this one is the day off. Were game 5 tomorrow I'd about 100 percent say the Royals advance. Look for Medlen to be the next man up followed, if needed, by Chris Young.

Said it before will say it again..................Joe Maddon for president! Outside Saint Louis who couldn't be rooting for the "curse of the Billy Goat" to end?????

Darn tophat didn't know you knew this place existed. Good to see you like baseball

IF they get by the Cards, they'll lose to the Mets next round. Most complete team outside of Toronto. FWIW, I think they would take us out too, and have thought this since the deadline.

Just to play "what if" for a second.
What if we had traded for Cespedes?

The DEGROMINATOR.............my favorite player in all of MLB. Just have a soft spot for perennial losers (as a KC fan trust me I know that feeling all tooooo well) like the Cubbies.

Love baseball just, up until the past three years, haven't had much to root for locally BUT have been a huge fan since I was a little kid in the early 70s when the A's left town then promptly won three in a row. Still have very painful memories of the 76-77-78 playoffs in particular.

The Cubs will own St. Louis for the next 10 years. Dunce cap Matheny is lost in that dugout.

Idk if they'll own...but I certainly think they're in a position to be the best team in the Central...and potentially all of MLB for that matter...for about the next 5-8 years. An awful lot of darned good, young talent under club control. And I have to think they'll give Theo the money to go get a pitcher or two. If they buy right, lordy. And I hate to admit it, but they really are fun to watch.

Not to worry Eags. Cards have young talent and plenty of money. The Birds aren't going nowhere. One thing has been pretty constant since 1996. (winning). Runny think about that 1996, Royals have nothing on the Birds.

The past is neat gramps, but 1996 is gone.
It's Cubs-Royals in the present and future.
Enjoy the show.

I would not rank the Royals in the Top 3 expected AL teams over the next 3-5 years. They aren't that young and the farm system isn't that great, and the resources aren't there to keep up with the real powers.

Detroit's window is closed, but are they good enough to stay ahead of Cleveland and Minnesota? The Twins are the team in that division with the scary good young talent (Buxton and Sano are potential MVPs under team control for 5 more years)

I like watching Grichuk play but has he ever played a whole season without a lengthy DL stint?

Piscotty is class all the way, but can we expect him to hit .300 ever again? He hasn't been that high average in the minors.

I will be shocked if Lackey is back.
We have youngsters coming up and Waino
back.

Adams, Moss, and Heyward will not all three be on the roster in 2016.

Watch the INDIANS next year...............mark it down.

Indian pitching blew us away in one series this year. But we also couldn't hit many mediocre pitchers. So it was hard to tell how good Cleveland was.

Do you Have any idea how many guys the Cardinals have that are 26 or less and are VERY good on offense, defense and pitching if all can be healthy at the same time?

It's Pa Pa to you Runny and I don't see the Royals doing this for more than 2 more years so enjoy it as they will never have a run like the Birds have had!
