Top to bottom, it’s possible this could be the weakest Class 4 district in the state. I have no doubt that we’ll make it out of districts and roll into the playoffs at 8-3 but if we don’t clean up the penalties and if the D doesn’t step up, I don’t see the Z making it past the quarterfinals.

Against opponents with a winning record, defense is allowing 31+ points per game

To put that into perspective, last year, Zizzer D was allowing less than 18 points a game to a team with a winning record.

over the last 5 years, Zizzer D has allow less than 23 points per game to teams with a winning record.

I know 9 points doesn’t sound like a big difference, but we’re also not as strong offensively as in years past, so allowing those extra 9 points a game makes a big difference when it comes down to it.

I haven’t actually looked, but I believe it would be the same as last year, winner of Hannibal’s district.
so I’m assuming Hannibal, unless there is someone in their district who would be favored over them

I take back what I said about weakest Class 4 district, I keep forgetting about our counterparts down around Sikeston and the Cape area, but outside of them, definitely the next weakest district this year.
