Just making this post because i think this has definitely been the most complete part of this team this year and they dont get much attention.

Duley is perfect this year in field goals with the long being a big 44 yard fg against nixa. Aslo perfect on pat attempts.

Although they dont punt much ; their 6'7" punter (Davidson)might be the best in the state outside of nixas kicker / punter/ quarterback / linebacker that is going to FSU...... I bet has has a 45 yard net average.

On kickoff they cant kick it in the endzone (or wisely dont) the ball usually lands between the 1 and 5 yard line and very seldom do they cross the 20 with the return.

Anyways ....just thought id give these kids props bc they have been great all year

Kick coverage has been solid and I think JRod talked about how good that group had been a week or two ago on the podcast.
I was watching Davidson in warm ups Friday and he was punting from the 50 and hit the band stands multiple times.

Yeah, i was worried about jinxing them too lol. Davidson is a stud punting, unless you show up early you wont notice though..The special teams have been their one consistant part of the game and they have consistently came up huge in close games ; weather it be flipping the field or knocking down a field goal.

Also nate (#14) had has some nice punt returns this year ; although his two biggest were called back

If there is a missed fg or pat or shanked punt feel free to put 100% of the blame on adam davied aka hitch_and_go. Its an unwritten rule to not talk about these things so im taking a chance giving them the praise they deserve

I realize the return game is where highest amount of injuries seem to occur but yeah I think there have been several big time licks every game in kick coverage.

I agree, when I have watched Webb this year their special teams has been the most complete part of the team, but J Rod always preaches the special teams. Davidson is the best punter I've seen at Webb since Daniel Stanley!
