I agree. Just watched the WC/Nixa and I am more impressed with WC than I was with Nixa. No disrespect to Nixa.
After the CJ game I came back and watched the Nixa Eagles YouTube link to the game and WC does look solid this year - much better than last year. Why you lost was because Webb players made little mistakes that Nixa didn't - ill-timed penalties, not grabbing the fumble from Nixa that gave them a 20-yard first down (and eventual winning TD), 2 missed FG, etc.
Stop me if you’ve heard this before. Webb lost. But played really well and should’ve won. They were by far the best team. If not for a couple plays here or there…insufferable.
Agree 100% . Last night when I watched it live ...I left saying and thinking ...man Webb probably should have won that game . They never went 3 and out . Never punted . Every possession ended inside nixa territory....two missed FG ECT . Today I watched it again and thought ...wow ...Webb played their guts out against a team that was physically better than them and gave theirselves a chance to win . Ward was the difference in the game . Long TD run , fumble recovery and also saved 3-4 touchdowns on open field tackles . That being said nixa was superior up front and it was a great effort for Webb .

I'm sure the Adrians and Lockwoods have a few of those too. Most of those few probably aren't on MoSports however, but if the team starts losing, they'll not show up for games. What winning program doesn't have them? At least this year, perhaps Webb can see who the real fans are, the ones who are similar to Jasper fans, who show up to support thick or thin, although mostly thin. Webb should have a better year, as this year's senior class has better leadership qualities and athleticism. And I know I may tick some of last year's senior parents off, but I said what I said here as well.
can’t say you are exaggerating, but I was in the nixa stands at the south 30 and didn’t see a single WC shirt or cap anywhere on that side. Certainly a large crowd though. Parking at Nixa absolutely sucks!
