Was talking to a WC school board member at the game and she said the COC voted Thursday that Carthage had to count the Webb Forfeit as a loss. Don’t know that for a fact

So Carthage finishes its season 9-2. Seems like the game was overhyped then, if the Tigers weren’t truly undefeated and were a few touchdowns worse than Webb.

Here's something funny, if WC played Joplin last night not many would have picked the Eagles to win. Even though the Eagles won the first matchup, the Cards are too well coached and always improve as the season progresses. The same could have very well been true if this was a WC/Carthage rematch after a Carthage win earlier in the season.
