Smell greasy......pretty sure the powdered sugar isn’t suppose to turn to a paste.... Webb should stick to football
At the end of the half.... with short underneath passes.... taking what Webb was giving them... before that nothing
Willard drove to the 1 yd line the first drive of the game . Went about 80 yds . They have probably more yds than Carthage had last week

Idk why WC stinks is making excuses or discrediting Willard but they played us tough. I would imagine they gained more yds than anyone else has against Webb this year . Makes me cringe the potential Camdenton matchup
Kaballa has played about 6 snaps on defense this year . He came in when Webb was down 21 to Joplin for 2 series
Willard made some nice plays but WC raced to a 28-0 lead and then got sloppy. A little post Carthage game hangover. Carthage had it worse, almost lost to Branson. Watching this game though I can see how Willard looks good one week and bad the next.

If you followed the thread I was giving updates as things happened... at the time I said they were having trouble moving the ball, they were, they had a couple straight series that went nowhere, check the time stamp..... I complimented their plays throughout the thread......
The very first drive of the game they took it to the 1 yd line and had two shots from there and I think started about the 20. How is that "can't move the ball ?"
I mean ...I never thought I'd argue for Willard's behalf but they moved the ball all night. Much better than class 6 #3 Joplin or Class 5 #3 Carthage
Like John said in the Postgame doing stuff like Pistol or Posse gets the kids excited sometimes
John always seems to mess around with Willard for a qtr and give them a crazy look that he may never dial up again
I don’t believe the game started at 7:26.... about when the thread started.....at which time Willard had had 2 straight series that went nowhere.....so once again at that moment in time they couldn’t move the ball. I know it’s hard to understand that one comment was about a certain part of the game and wasn’t a blanket comment about the whole game, but if you try hard enough I think you can understand......if not maybe you can get a job at CNN and argue everything out of context.....
While WC’s defense at times played with good intensity tonight they were much more amped up for playing Carthage and Joplin for obvious reasons. I’m not knocking Willard but I don’t think you can just say WC gave up 21 to Willard tonight so they are going to play at that same level when they play a big game in the districts or playoffs. WC is usually going to get everyone’s A game.
Odds are pretty decent that these teams will meet again in the district semis. I’d take a 4 TD win again in a heartbeat.
Willard doesn’t have a bad team and their kids played hard. Defense kind of lost its intensity for a while
Willard played pretty good . Their qb is pretty good . Not sure how you get butthurt about that . Webb looks like they need to improve the pass defense. Willard did a good job pass blocking ...if Webb doesn't get pressure on Camndentons qb ...they will have to just outscore them
Pass defense has been an Achilles heel for them... Was it last year Branson’s passing game almost took them down? If they can’t pressure the QB they will be vulnerable.
You could say that about the pass defense for the last 30 years or so. Partly by design I think, hard to argue with the overall results
3 weeks to go but Willard looks to be the 4 seed and has already beat CJ soundly once so I could see them meeting WC again in 5 weeks. Given the injuries/struggles of Carthage last night I could see Willard going Carthage some problems.
