I was surprised Hughes didn't transfer at Christmas break because his best friend Willie Jackson transferred. Walton I am glad is gone. He was just a slasher, and couldn't really shoot.

Do you think they were encouraged to leave?

No. Hughes almost didn't come back at break. Why he missed a game or two. Was MIA from practice right after Xmas for about a week. Hughes wants to be THE guy. He's not good enough for that to happen at a decent P5 school.

Imagine will Walton will go mid-major route, or smaller. Hard to be an effective "guard" in good D-I hoops if you can't shoot or dribble and refuse to give effort on defense. His effort and body language rivaled Isabell last season.
