Another nice job by MSHSAA. Vashon has no trouble with Kearney and Bolivar. Everybody knew it before the season started that the state championship games were the sectional and quarterfinals between St. Mary's and Sikeston. St. Mary's lost in OT. Sikeston lost by 7 but but led 24-12 until Fred Thatch got whistled for two phantom fouls. MSHSAA should see the top teams after district play.

Here in KC Grandview was far and away the top rated (and best) Class 4 squad. They had to play a de-facto road game at SBU vs. Bolivar in the quarters. Not daring to say they would've beaten Vashon but think they could've given them a game.

Re-seed you mean?

That would be impossible given that MSHSAA doesn't have a ranking system like Oklahoma does:

Vashon was clearly the better team, but they had nothing to do with Bolivar's dismal first half shooting. Those were wide open threes they were taking, and they missed them all.

I very much agree. If Bolivar shoots like they did against Grandview and Parkway then it's a much different game. But pretty much everybody had an off game but Emmert. That's the way the ball bounces though. Vashon is loaded no doubt.

Vashon clearly better in every way. Basically just cycled thru their offense without even looking for a shot for long stretches of the 2nd half. Or stood with the ball. Bolivar couldn't guard them close and get by with it.
