Anybody see any teams out there this week that could be on upset alert? I know some of the 2 seeds could be in trouble against the 3 seeds but I'm thinking more about 1 seeds going down or 2 seeds against lower seeds.

Only been in the Jeff city area for a couple of years but I heard the Helias vs Camdenton games were quite the show awhile back.
Few that could be some really good games.
Willard Republic, the first game was 21-20 hard to beat a team twice.
Reed Mount Vernon, first game 42-27 just two weeks ago again hard to be a team twice.
Joplin Kickapoo, Joplin is probable more battled tested.

Hint: Compare the schedules Park Hill and Staley have played with their C6 D8 opponents..............

MC came to WP with a 10-1 record a few years ago, and the Z handed them a 42-7 turbo.
The Zizzers may be in a down year, but going 4-5 against C2 & 3 schools isn’t going to prep the Mustangs for a district title run.
I'm not saying that the Big 8 isn’t a tough conference, cause it is. And there are a few teams in there that would compete in any conference in the state regardless of size, but I don’t see any way that MC keeps this game closer than 3-4 TDs.
I could be proven wrong tonight though.

In general I agree, however your stats are off. MC is 6-4 and played more class 4 games (5) than C3 (3) and C2 (2).
The year Mac went 10-1 they only played 3 teams with a winning record, their schedule was a cupcake at best. WP was 10-1 that year.
This year MC has played 6 teams with a winning record, I think they should be more battled tested and WP is not as good as that year.
WP will probable win, but if MC wants to get them this going to be their chance.

Staley lead 21-10 at half. Oak Park shut them out in second half. Thrilling come back 28-21 Oak Park.
Both of these almost happened. Park Hill at Oak Park next week for the D8 title.
