Advancing to Columbia with a long winning streak it seemed a certainty that the Soldan Tigers were going to advance to the championship and were going to return to St. Louis with the title.

Upended by their nemisis, the Borgia Knights in the semifinal round they settled instead for a third place finish and a feeling of unfinished business as a roster filled with juniors looked forward to the 2011-2012 season.

Leading the way this year, senior guard Paul McRoberts (6-4) returns after leading the team coring 17 points per game, connecting on 42% of his three point attempts.

5-foot-11 inch senior guard Pete Sanders returns after averaging 15 points per game, connecting on nearly 50% from beyond the arc. Inside 6-foot-4 inch forward Randy Holmes returns after averaging 11 points and leading the team in rebounding.

This group will accomplish great things once again this season, however they know their real goal lies with unfinished business in March in Columbia.
