Unfair Districts

One of the most stacked districts I can remember was in 2002.

Class 4 District 9
#1 Washington 7-0
#3 Camdenton 7-0
#7 Waynesville 7-0
#10 Helias 6-1

Helias ended up winning the district.

I remember that one (good Lord 20 years ago) back when I still got all my info from Newspapers.........Camdenton and Washington in particular were very hyped squads and, as pointed out, neither made the playoffs. Helias and Webb staged an OT classic quarterfinal.

The MoSports rumor board was that MSHSAA was ticked off at Washington for lying on their attendance numbers to stay in Class 4.

Ya know now that you mention it I believe there was something to that effect in a Camdenton newspaper article I read but that has been awhile ago so don't remember word for word.
