will host 14th ranked Moberly for the Region 16 Championship tonight at 7. Winner advances to the NJCAA Tournament in Lubbock, Texas. Moberly has 4 losses and 3 of them were to 3R with 2 of them at Moberly. 3R won by 3, and 9 at Moberly and 15 at home. Should be a wild one tonight with one very good team's season possibly coming to an unpleasant end. Moberly won the region tourney last season, then beat the Iowa winner and then there was no NJCAA Tourney. Moberly could possibly get one of the 8 at large bids since they have been in the top 25 poll all season. Depends on the number of upsets in other regions I guess.

The men always do, the women usually play Williams Baptist and an Illinois team or two. 3R beat Moberly tonight, Moberly kid hit a 35 footer at the buzzer make it a 2 point final. So 3R goes to the tournament and Moberly will very likely get an at large bid to get there. Mosbey girl from Dexter was named POY in Region 26. 3R goes to the tournament with shortened season record of 21-0.
3R won for the 4th time this season in a barn burner 78-76. Its was a great game but the final was 2 points because of a 35 footer Moberly hit at the final buzzer. 3R hit their free throws in the last minute so Moberly didn't have a chance tie or win at the end. 3R is a 9 seed and will play the 24 seed Eastern Oklahoma St. in the first round of the tournament. Moberly did get an at large bid but I haven't seen where they will be in the seeding yet.
