Has the FBI been brought in to checkout the collusion between MLB owners? There is no way that many quality FA's have to wait this song to get a contract and when they get them it's at discount with out it. There is no way they weren't all in on it, sure smells little fishy to me.

I wouldn't be dying to give him a 5 year deal, but he plays decent 3B and hit 38 HR last year.
His defense has fallen every year. He's in the negatives in Def Val last year. The 38 homeruns from a LH are nice..... But I can't stomach giving money to a guy with a career .305 OBP
D varies from year to year, and even slightly negative is acceptable for a guy with power. Yes, the OBP is low, but you can handle one guy like that in your lineup
