With impeachment proceedings due to resume soon, it is now time for Trump's tried and true diversionary "crisis" to divert America's attention. The Iran "crisis" will follow the same pattern as the government shutdown crisis, the North Korea crisis, the trade war crisis, and the Ukraine crisis used to divert America's attention away from the beginning of the Russian interference scandal, the Mueller investigation, and the impeachment hearings.

"The Art of the Con" steps
Step 1: Create a crisis
Step 2: Amp up the rhetoric to increase attention and tensions
Step 3: Create a deadline with demands to bring tensions to the boiling point
Step 4: "Solve" the crisis with a miraculous 11th hour agreement full of vague and immeasurable conditions that Trump hails as the greatest diplomatic achievement since the Louisiana Purchase.
