If you look at the County maps you can see that the area's with the Blue are surrounded by red, KC/STL/CHI/NYC etc. even Calif's blue area's are surrounded by red if you take into account the Pacific ocean is at their backs. And yes the Population of those area's is larger. Roughly 171 million live in Biden counties and 146 million live in Trumps counties.

Now Let's do a mental exercise, we will do some speculation and then theorize about what happens if the rift between the red and blue is to great to find common ground...... as I pointed out Most of those 171 million are hemmed in to some very small urban area's. As you can see on the county by county map that is pretty obvious .

Now Look at the Highways, roads, railways and Airport locations in and out of those area's. Determine where those area's water supply and energy comes from mostly form outside those regions. Factor in How they have by consent unarmed themselves and rely mostly on municipal gov. entities for protection. How hard would it be for a slightly smaller populace to lay a modern siege to those area's? No water, no energy, food supplies limited and finite because they have to be shipped in, and no weapons to break the blockade.

It doesn't take a large amount of people to Choke off a unarmed Metropolitan area.

I know scary and disturbing but at this point there doesn't seem to be much common ground between the two sides.

Even in Oregon you have counties wanting to leave the state and join Idaho because the Left super majority controls their lives and they feel a better fit with a more conservative Idaho.

It doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to see this Divide becoming a movement and then a reality. 45-49% depending on what poll you believe states that the Military leans Rep's and 28-32% tend to be Dem's. Or at least vote that way in general.

I think if we are all honest with ourselves, one of the positives from the Trump administration is that he called out the media for what they really are. Do I agree with his methods? No. But, they are what they are and one thing they aren't are news reporting agencies. A poll has recently said that 20% of Biden voters would not have voted for him if they had known about the Hunter Biden story. How did they not know? when you retire and have time on your hands, get a copy of the Mueller report and take your time and read it. You will never say the words russia and hoax in the same day ever again. I had to do research and write a paper on this that mirrored our studies on the War of the States. A what if situations or could it happen again hypothesis.

This was not arguments over policies and what degree of socialistic they are or if they are to progressive. Like Rep often engage in.

I’ve said this on here multiple times the Dems only needed to let Trump be Trump and he would have done the work for them but instead its been 4 years of verbal harassment and abuse.
Of course the left feels that their actions are and where justified and now that Biden is coming into office then the Right should forgive and forget, good luck with that.

I no longer believe this, Trump is starting to prove the left was probable onto something. Trump needs to stop with the election was rigged rhetoric along with all the other Republicans. I went along with it for a bit because I really believed that the republicans would force Trump back to reality and common sense. However there has been no proof and yet he continues and the repubs continue to support him and his calls of fraud.

It is clear to me now that he Trump will not be satisfied until he feels he has been vindicated for his perceived wrongs and lost election. I truly believe that Trump wants an actual civil war and to be crowned King of whatever is left and many Republicans would go right along with that. It is so scary that I voted for this man, and it is so scary that so many educated people cannot see that by continuing to feed into this man's ego we are going down a path of civil destruction. I want an America to be around for my grandkids... so I want this to stop. However I just don't see it ever stopping until enough republicans actually grow some hair and say enough is enough Trump.

We went from let's first see if there is any fraud and if none is found Trump will stop and we will support the next president, to now just trying to sue other states to get thier votes thrown out. So we are now so far beyond just trying to find fraud to now trying to actually disenfranchise American citizens votes with no proof of anything....and to me that is scary and it should be scary to all because if the Republicans can do this then so can the Democrats. So think about this had the Democrat lead states sued to have Missouri's votes, our votes thrown out with no proof just stating we don't like how they held the election and it is not constitutional we would all have come unglued and said here comes socialism!! When we no longer care about our own brothers and sisters and care more about some guy in the white house trying to futally hold onto power we have lost our way. As the bible says, put no man before God...to many Republican who are Christians have put Trump above God and believe he is the savior of this country and that is scary.

I just don't get the concern. Stacy Abrams has never conceded the Governors race in Georgia from 2 years ago yet she is heralded by the left. I could care less if she ever does because it means nothing whether she does or not. Same with Trump.
