How many of these giants were on Trinity's squad last year?
Trinity's D and O lines played like cupcakes today; size doesn't make up for aggressiveness.
I disagree. They were coached well enough. It's not Trinity's fault Lawson is trying to get by with 170 lb guards and slow DB's sitting in a soft zone. Lawson did the best they could. But to portray it like Trinity was some kind of large, talented, but sloppy team isn't at all accurate, in my opinion.
Outweighed the opposition by 30 lbs a man and still gave up 30, winning by only two TDs???
Most were outweighed by 80 lbs IYRC. This game will be jimmy's and joe's vs X's and O's. Even a homer like yourself can see the talent there, right?
Lamar was able to shut down the speed guy Orchard ( who doesn't have TC speed ) for Liberty just not sure they have enough secondary speed to play man to shut down TC. Gonna be interesting to watch this one.

Of course. Trinity has only been a program since 2003. Lamar is, well, for real for real.
Would disagree 100%. I was at this game, Trinity was NOT undisciplined, lazy, or un-coached. They are very talented and were the better team against a very "disciplined" and "well coached" team today. Likely will not be Lamar but I would not be surprised if they make it good game. Trinity QB and WR (#11) are as talented as I have seen. That OL is HUGE, #76 and #66 are beasts!
Lawson was outmanned today but they have nothing to hang their heads about. all their losses have come to teams that are playing for state championships.
Carl Junction in 2014 played finalists Lamar, Seneca, and Webb City, although not all 3 won the championships that year. So it might come close to happening more than one would think.
