Looks like Nordstrom is closing in the Galleria. Figure it won't be a year or two before that place will be a ghost town.

Never cared for the Lou Galleria anyway. Luxury big boxes are struggling all over America. My Nordstrom concierge at Oak Park Mall warned me the other day I may have to go strictly online so that one could be moving on, too................

It was nice place to get your car broken into. There was a Texas de Brazil I liked that was in the Galleria but pretty sure that closed after I moved to Jeff City.
Oak Park Mall has the most hellish, nasty Food Court in existence. Enough of these malls LOL...............
Even Joplin's Northpark has been begging for a wrecking ball for the last little while. The only one that seems to be hanging on is Battlefield in Springfield.
Battlefield read what was coming years back. Caters to young families and let's just say there are a few immediately south of Springfield.
TBH I haven't been there in several years. I know they've had a couple of major incidents, though.
I know a guy who lives down that way. Their family rule is that their kids do not go to the center without a parent and no one goes period after sundown. Nuff said !
