Lamar definitely stopped a team that would’ve won in 2015. That MVL team was unreal. That game got my blood pressure and anxiety off the charts. MVL arguably should’ve/could've had 2 imo.
The 2015 game is one of my favorite HS games I've seen. What a battle. It was so fun to see how much it meant to both communities.
MV is a cool little place. Wish they had the opportunity for a better field though. lol
Chuck Lliteras never won a state title at Harrisonville. He was at Harrisonville from 2008-2013. Brent Maxwell took over in 2014 and won the Class 4 State Championship in 2016.

Be a Bud Lathrop and stop off on the bridge on the way home and throw the 2nd place trophy in the river and tell kids they don't keep 2nd place trophies in the case! Man I wish I knew if that story were true!

Sorry. Didn't mean to upset you. You can put whatever place you want on your trophy. Make it a regional award, whatever it takes. Everybody can be successful in some way.
He won at Marionville in 03,, lost in semi finals in 04 and went to Lebanon in 05. Scholten lost it twice.

Then why does MSHSAA give out trophies that say "Second Place"? Its not like the schools are making up their own.
Crudop led them to the state title their sr season after Lindley's accident i believe in the summer.
i know the LIndley's and they are great people. Sad situation all around. Kids make bad choices and most of us are lucky enough they don't cost us.
Sad it is.. True too. We have all been there. No knock on Lindley at all. Just saying Crudop took the team on his shoulders that year and carried them.
